Jewelry Making

Making jewelry can be a lot of fun, at first it might seem hard but it can surely bring out the artist hidden in each of us. All it takes is some skills and some creativity.

If you are not confident enough in your skills, you can always opt to attend a creativity workshop where you could learn all the skills and techniques a beginner would need. If it turns out that you are actually quite talented, you enjoy it and like creating unique pieces, you could even start your own little business.

Making jewelry molds help you recreate the same model over and over again if you choose not to create only unique models.

However, in order to make jewelry, you need to invest in some basic tools and some materials. For this you need to decide what type of jewelry you want to make: semi precious gems, crystal, pearls, silver, gold, plastic, fabric etc.

There are several tools that will come in handy depending on what you choose to create: Mini Micro Chain Nose Pliers, Mini Micro Round Nose Pliers, Mini Micro Duckbill Flat Nose Pliers, Flush Cutter, Nylon Jaw Pliers, Step Jaw Pliers, Bent Closing Piers, Chasing Hammer, Anvil, Bench Block, Nylon Hammer, Cup Bur and Pin Vice.

Making jewelry is a great way to express yourself and it is a great hobby in the service of yourself and others as well. There are a lot of jewel crafting guides on the internet if you want to try to learn by yourself but it is always easier to attend a basic class, where a teacher can guide you through the whole process and provide you with various testing material.
